It’s time to be praying for our Easter Service which are just 2 weeks away commencing with Palm Sunday. Text, email family and friends to join with you over this blessed period. If they are some distance away or even overseas, invite them to join with us via our livestreaming and YouTube channel. Let’s get the message out! Those of you who will be serving in Sunday school during this period, please be in prayer to reach the children here with the wonderful story of Christ’s death and amazing Resurrection. CCSH has arranged for a private Church screening of the new movie, “The Jesus Revolution” prior to its public screening. On Monday, April 17 at 6:30 pm at Ace Cinemas Rockingham. There is a sign-up sheet at the information desk that you MUST fill in to enable you to join us at this private screening! Only those names on the sheet will be able to gain entrance to this private screening.
From the Pastor’s Desk. Are you ready for Easter? I am not talking about easter eggs or holidays. I am talking about setting your heart to the time of Christ’s crucifixion, His death, His burial and His Resurrection! We as His Church, as His disciples at this time are to be sharing the news of the Easter Story to every ear we can reach. Especially children, and now the many others who know nothing of Christ’s sacrifice for their sins. 2Ti 4:2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. Seize the moment, when you present ‘hot cross buns’ at work or somewhere else, share the reason and story of the Cross. Easter is the story of forgiveness, of hope and new life. We have a world of people living without forgiveness, but in guilt and shame. We have people ending their lives for they see no hope. We have individuals who fear the future and see no reason for their existence. Jesus came to bring life! We are His media team; we are His ambassadors and we are His messengers. Make a conscious effort to seize the moment to share the good news of the Gospel. This is Easter!

These anxious concerns can cause you to fall apart or trust the Lord knowing that He will not take you through anything that is absolutely necessary. Accept His plan and be content knowing whatever comes your way that God is in control.

During the service we ask for your cooperation to not be a distraction to others by leaving your seat once the service has started. Please wait until the close of worship before leaving as people can be distracted while reflecting on God’s message to them.
