LATEST NEWS Calvary Women’s Bible study is back this Tuesday! Invite a friend to join you for a time with other godly women and be encouraged! Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour seeks to be a Church that proclaims the Gospel of Jesus Christ and teaches the whole counsel of God’s Word. A Church where prayer and the Word of God are the dominant pillars of fellowship. A place where sinners can find the grace of God. A Church where new believers can be disciplined and grow to be the men and women God has planned for them to be. A fellowship that lives constantly expecting Christ to come for His Church. We encourage you to step out and begin God’s calling for you today. We encourage you to be open to serving Him and consider serving Jesus Christ as the most joyous thing you could do. Will you make that step today? Talk to a pastor today. On Sun., May 14th, will be our Mother’s Day service, meaning no evening service that week!
FROM THE STUDY: In Dan 10, we learnt that another world is connected and impacted by ours. The world of angelic hosts, those serving God and those seeking to hinder His work. Did you know there are basically two types of Church members within the Church? Those serving God and those not! Whilst there are many religions in the world, there are only two simple divisions of all people—those who know and serve Jesus Christ and those who don’t. Often things seem very complex, but in reality, they are not. For a marriage to work, it requires two people who are both submitted to God. A marriage fails when people decide their will is above God’s. A marriage involves faithfulness, grace and forgiveness. But beneath all these, there must be a total submission again to God’s will, not your own. Where are you in all of this? I would rather be in a storm in the will of God than in a calm outside the will of God. Jos 24:15 “And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”
HELEN’S HEART: Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up.” Prov 12:25 What concerns you today? There are many devices of the world that produce anxiety: pressure to pay bills, provide for family, to give them the best in education, sports, music or arts. Paul tells the Church at Philipp how to deal with these pressures – Let your concerns be made to God. Proverbs tells us a kind word from others does not go astray either. So when you notice someone is distressed don’t dismiss them but give them the kind word of hope, offer to pray with them and remind them of the promises of God to take care of them. Then watch and see the Peace of God keep them.
CALVARY CHAPEL NASINU FIJI: Let us continue to pray for the Church of CC Nasinu!
GRACE GIVING: We have a container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving, or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Lev 27:30 And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’s. It is holy to the LORD.“

During the service we ask for your cooperation to not be a distraction to others by leaving your seat once the service has started. Please wait until the close of worship before leaving as people can be distracted while reflecting on God’s message to them.
