Daily devotion – do you have the time?
Eph 5:16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
The modern world is running out of time.
The clock is coming closer to midnight and so much time for so many people will have been completely wasted – time the most precious of all commodities!
The modern world has will have spent all its energy, all its time, chasing down the truths of God’s Word – only to realize that the truth of God’s Word has been the hound and modernity the hare!
For God’s Word, all His promises, will come to past – Ephesians 1:10 – And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth.
How much time is there – in a year – 365 days, 525, 600 minutes…..just one year.
Time is so precious……
Why even the word time is found 612 times in the Bible.
The word hour 96 times.

“Time is free, but it’s priceless. You can’t own it, but you can use it. You can’t keep it, but you can spend it. Once you’ve lost it you can never get it back.” – Harvey MacKay
“Time stays long enough for anyone who will use it.” – Leonardo Da Vinci
“Time is what we want most, but… what we use worst.” – William Penn

Ecc 3:1 To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: 2 A time to be born, And a time to die…..
As you start a new week this week, Paul reminds us to redeem the time God has given us. In other words, use it for God’s glory. How do you do this? At the start of each day, give God the day, ask Him to lead you and to direct your path. Make your prayer specific – ask the Lord to give you the words to speak today, to guide your thoughts. God will do the rest.
Have a great start this week as you use that most precious gift God has given you – time!
