Daily devotion – set free
Dan 12:13 “But you, go your way till the end; for you shall rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days.”
What we do, how we live now, how we serve the Lord, will determine the rewards the Lord will give us at the judgment seat of Christ – 2Co 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
Every cup will be full in heaven, but some cups will be larger than others. We will share in the glory of God, and those who have lived to win others to Christ as Daniel revealed to us last Sunday, will shine like the stars in the heavens.
Some people are only interested in investing in this world and take no consideration of the next. Not realizing that you can take nothing with you when you leave this world.
This week seek the Lord as to how you can invest in the future, beyond this physical world.
Mat 6:19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal”
Mat 6:20“but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.”
What this thinking does is free you from the bind of temporary living and helps you grow with an eternal mindset.
This is a great and liberating way of living!
