Daily devotion – Monday review
Mat 6:6
“But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
Monday review – did I please the Lord on the weekend? Did I give Him all that I have? How can I serve Him better next time the Church gathers? What did God open my eyes to as we gathered to glorify Him? My desire to know Him more now is even greater!
Today, spend time with Him in that quiet place. Let God do the talking and help me to listen intently to His heart. Lift my eyes to this new week ahead and give it to the Lord. Pray for His guidance and wisdom.
Crucify my flesh yet again as it always seeks to raise its ugly head. Realize once again how great God’s grace is and how amazing God’s forgiveness and mercy are and how undeserving of all of it I am.
Romans 12: 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Pray and open God’s Word, with the simple desire to know Him greater and to change to be what He desires me to be.
Pray for His Church here in Secret Harbour, Fiji, and the Ukraine. Pray for Israel!
Finally, thank Him for all His blessings once again!
