Our ramp removal and platform extension will be commencing from Monday the 24th.

Helen’s Heart
The Lord has comforted His people and will have compassion on His suffering one’s – Isaiah 49:13 When troubles overwhelm us, it is hard for us to see a way out and how this problem will work out. After the bleak of winter rains and storms the spring sunshine bring a carpet of colourful wildflowers. Our burdens are like the winter storms preparing a way for something beautiful in our lives. Song of Solomon 2:11-12 For lo, the winter is past, The rain is over and gone. 12 The flowers appear on the earth; The time of singing has come,

The Praying Church
You are invited to pray alongside others in the prayer team each Sunday morning at 9:45am in classroom #1, but especially with the Church here at CCSH Wednesday evenings at 7:00PM. 1Pe 4:7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

From the Pastors Desk
Scripture: Acts 4:12 (NKJV) “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
In a world that often promotes the idea that all roads lead to heaven and that each person can create their own truth, the exclusive claims of Jesus can be unsettling to some. Yet, Jesus Himself made it clear that salvation is found in Him alone. He boldly declared, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). The verse in Acts 4:12 reinforces this truth. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. The exclusive nature of this claim stands in stark contrast to the relativism of our culture, where people are encouraged to follow diverse paths to spirituality.
While some may struggle with the exclusivity of Jesus’ claims, it is essential to understand the profound significance of His name and mission. The Hebrew translation of the name Jesus, Jehoshua, means “God is salvation.” His name encapsulates His purpose, for God sent His Son into the world to be the Saviour. Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross and His resurrection provided the only means for reconciliation between humanity and God. The forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life are made possible solely through faith in Jesus Christ.
As you walk in the truth of Christ, your life becomes a testimony to the transformative power of the Saviour. Remember, the exclusivity of Jesus’ claims is not meant to exclude anyone but to invite all to experience the hope and redemption found in Him. Jesus stands as the open door, inviting all who come to find salvation and eternal life through faith in Him.

Israel Tour Group
Important information is needed from all travelling to Israel Jan 2024. This morning after the service, at the information desk, Noah will be seeking the much-needed following information from you: 1. Are you definitely still travelling? The numbers predicted effect the overall tour prices with Pilgrim tours. 2. What airline are you booked with? 3. What day and time is your arrival and departure schedule? Recent news that Emirate air fares have risen if you have not booked yet. Turkish airlines is a very viable option, but you will need a different carrier on leaving Perth if travelling with them. Advice received is that airfare prices will not be falling but only increasing. Just 172 days until you are walking in the footsteps of Jesus! The 26 passengers who are flying Emirates, your final payment is due on October 1.
