This Week at Calvary
Pastor Keith starts a new study this morning from 2 Timothy. The Apostle Paul’s last words before his execution by Caesar Nero in Rome. In addition, a new study commenced last Wednesday evening on End Times and the Great Tribulation from Matthew’s gospel. Calvary ladies, this Tuesday here at the chapel at 9:30am, its your time to gather and encourage other women to both grow and serve the Lord together here at CCSH. We are planning a Spring-Cleaning Day plus a BBQ for all those able to serve on this day. A date soon to be announced. Please keep the CCSH Board in your prayers as they work through the design and costs for our building extension which will give us a Youth Room, several new Sunday school classes, toilets, and office space.
Join us tonight and ever Sunday evening at 6:00pm as Pastors Israel and Marlon, take us through the Word of God – tonight its 2 Samuel with Ps Israel.
The Praying Church
It’s time for you to be part of the powerful prayer team here at CCSH Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings at 7:00PM. Don’t miss out on helping the Body of Christ here at CCSH, in the most powerful way you can! 1Th 5:17 Pray without ceasing
From the Pastors Desk Have you heard the term, “When the penny drops?” It means when you finally get it, when it clicks into place. As we sit under God’s Word, it is not like learning a book, or studying a subject at school, listening to a talk or lecture. No, the Word of God is living, the Bible says it is quick and powerful, sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Therefore, whether it is when you begin to read your Bible at home, or you are about to listen to a sermon, we need to pray. We need to pray that our hearts will be soft, like good soil, and receive God’s Word as a seed to grow and bear fruit. We are to pray that our ears will hear what the Holy Spirit would have us know and learn. These are not your physical ears, but our spiritual being, that our mind and thoughts shut every other distraction out and that we are keen to hear what God would say to us. It is the picture of someone leaning in, pressing close to hear keenly every word that is to be spoken. Intent on not missing a beat! Let us approach our reading at home and our listening in Church as those who Jesus deems wise, Those who listen, hear and then apply to their lives the Word from God for their lives.
Short Sayings –
“In our universe there is God and there are people and things. We were made so that we should worship God, love people, and use things. However, if we worship ourselves, we will ignore God, start loving things and begin to use people.”
Warren Wiersbe
Israel Tour Group
Just 123 days until we will be worshipping in the Holy Land of Israel.

Calvary Chapel Nasinu – Fiji

Helen’s Heart –
And my God shall supply all your need according ti His riches in glory by Jesus Christ – Phil 4:11 The Cost of living continues to rise – many a grocery item now has less packaging and higher pricing than even a year ago. We learn to ‘belt tighten’. But if we were simple enough to believe Psalm 116:6 says the Lord keeps the simple..His promise that He will supply our need and pray for that need, then a worry might be eliminated from your lives. Don’t be too sophisticated and allow others to impose their doubts on us. When we allow these seeds of doubt, we rob ourselves of the joy of taking God at His Word. Rather let’s be simple in a childlike faith and present the need and see what God does.
