This Week at Calvary The events in Israel have grabbed our attention and it is the Lord who is allowing all this to happen to capture your awareness. Do not neglect the importance of knowing what the war in Israel means for you, your family and the world as a whole. We are living in the Last Days, and we are to be aware of Israel’s significance in Bible prophecy. God has also given us a great opening now to talk with people about our Lord Jesus Christ and the coming days! Peter tells us also in his second letter that these events should impact directly on how we live each day in anticipation of the Lord’s coming. It’s time to adjust how you spend your time at home and in fellowship with Christ’s Church. Reading and praying daily at home is God’s call on our hearts. Gathering with His Church every time possible as Christ is soon coming for those that are His – 1 Thess 4: 13-18. Ladies – Calvary Women’s Tuesday Bible study and fellowship is on the 1st of November, see you all there! Next Sunday, as we will be in November, we will be celebrating Communion together as Christ commanded us to so that we would remember Him.
The Praying Church We cannot call ourselves Christians or Christ’s Church unless we are a people of prayer! Join with us therefore on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings at 7:00PM. Be a prayer soldier with the Body of Christ here at CCSH, in the most powerful way you can! 1Th 5:17 Pray without ceasing
From the Pastors Desk
Saturday, we received an email from our Israeli Guide, Yaniv, telling us he and his family are safe, PTL, but that they (Israel) still has a job to do. Lord willing, we hope to have Yaniv and his family able to visit with us here in CCSH to share in detail the events that we have been reading about and watching of the war in Israel. One thing that is certain, there will be an increase in world wide protests and terrorist activity now that Israel is beginning to move into Gaza. Therefore we ask for you to be ever vigilant each time we gather for worship, prayer or any other meetings here at CCSH, for any suspicious persons or activity and report it immediately. As such, we are asking for more men to be part of our CCSH security contingent who will actively keep watch whilst we are gathered in the worship of the Lord. See Elder, Thomas Woodage, to have your name added to this vital role. The Scripture at the bottom of our bulletin taken from Deut. 11:12 tells us that God has never taken His eyes off Israel. What you and I are witnessing with the events in Israel is God putting the final pieces into place prior to Daniels’ 70th week beginning. It really is that close.
Quote of the week – “The end will come with the return of Jesus Christ…That is why a Christian can be an optimist. That is why a Christian can smile in the midst of all that is happening…We know what the end will be: the triumph of the Lord Jesus Christ.” – Billy Graham

Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour
Has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and to be conformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit
Jesus Christ is the foundation and cornerstone of the Church. He came to restore man’s broken relationship with God. His finished work on the cross made that possible.
(1Cor.3:11, Eph.2:20, Rom.5:6-10)
The Bible is the inspired, infallible word of God and is relevant and applicable to man today. Therefore we place great emphasis upon teaching it in public, studying it in private, and using it as a guide for our daily lives.
(1Tim.4:13, 11Tim 3:16-17, 1Thess.2:13)
Worship We believe God is worthy of praise, reverence and love. We take special time to worship Him in Church through song. It is our goal to worship Him with our whole lives as well as; at home, at work, and at play.
(John 4:23, Col.3:16, 1 Thess.5:16-18)
Christian Growth As believers we are to be growing in our walk with the Lord. We encourage this by abiding in Jesus Christ through obedience to His Word, prayer, and fellowship, and by yielding our lives to the Holy Spirit.
(John 15:4, Rom. 8:29, Eph.5:18)
Christian Service is a part of the Christian life and is the responsibility of all believers. Our goal is to develop the ministry of every member to use their gifts in love to the benefit of all for the glory of God.
(Eph.4:11-13, 1 Cor.12:4-7)
Love is the greatest virtue and demonstration of the reality of Jesus Christ and the fullness of His Spirit in our lives. We endeavor to show a Christ-like love toward all men. Love should be exhibited in our lives by our words as well as our actions.
(John 13:34-35, 1 Cor. 13:13)
