Please make use of our wonderful coffee and tea after the service – from $2:50 for the brewed to $3:50 for the barista made. From the Pastors Desk Isa 66:8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. This scripture was written for one nation. For only one nation has been born in one day. That nation is Israel, who on May 14, 1948, was declared the State of Israel. Israel is the only nation that has been dispersed and then regathered again in their homeland once again. If you ever doubt if there is a God, you only need to look to this amazing people, the people of Israel. On Oct 7 they were attacked yet once again, and the cries of the wicked world seek Israel’s annihilation as has been in history past. Its babies were slaughtered under Pharaoh, then under Herod, Hitler and now Hamas. I urge you as a believer to know the facts and wonder of this blessed people, the people of God. We are living in the Last Days and God is preparing His people to finally turn to Him as Messiah. But the Bible tells us much more is yet to be travailed by this people. But we know that in the end, they will turn to Jesus Christ and acknowledge Him as their Messiah! Zech 12: 10. Do you this morning know Jesus Christ as your Messiah and Lord? Time is short and we pray that today you will surrender your life to Him.
Quote “All the goodness I have within me is totally from the Lord alone. When I sin, it is from me and is done on my own, but when I act righteously, it is wholly and completely of God.” – Charles-Spurgeon
Grace Giving 2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. Your gifts allow God’s work to be done in our surrounding communities. Helen’ Heart – Go in Peace…and God grant your petition – 1 Sam 1:17. Hannah means gracious, and we see she depicts this as she endures the most unpleasant circumstances. She shared her husband with another woman who taunted her relentlessly because she had no children. Yet we see her piety reigned in her heart and she rose above the untoward situation and V7, went to worship the Lord. Her heart was open to the Lord, she did not retaliate, and her pain found refuge in prayer. Her prayer indeed was answered, and her Song of Thanksgiving is still an inspiration to the saints down the centuries. My heart rejoices in the Lord…He brings low and lifts up, He raises the poor from the dust…He will guard the feet of His saints…and exalt the horn of His anointed. 1 Sam 2:1-10.
