Christmas Eve!
Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done.
It’s the night before Christmas and we have bought all the gifts, we have prepared the food, we have family coming to visit. We have been busy getting all the things ready for Christmas.
But in the meantime, have we may have skipped our time in prayer, been too busy to read the Bible, been fully consumed with ‘our Christmas’?
This Sunday Christmas Eve in Church will you take a moment to say hello to someone you don’t know. Will you prepare your heart before you head out to Church to ask the Lord to lead you to someone to pray for, to wish them a sincere and merry Christmas.
Will you go out of your way for a child you see without a dad or a mum? Or the young mother who always comes alone to Church with a tribe of kids?
Will you stop and pause the rush and read the Scriptures telling us of the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem? Will you thank your Heavenly Father for sending His Son into a dark violent world to rescue and save you?
Let this Christmas Eve be one where the Holy Spirit is bubbling out of you and through you, as you remember what Christmas really is all about.
Set to enjoy this Christmas like no other and do not let the enemy steal away the Joy of the Lord in your Christmas!
See you Sunday morning and Sunday night at Church, as we gather and give He who was born King, praise and thanksgiving!
