Sunday 10:00am Genesis 2:

“Marriage Made in Heaven”

Sunday 6:00pm 2 Samuel 22

“David Sings of God”

Wednesday 7:00pm – Genesis verse by verse

Please join us as we gather to pray for the needs of the Church and wisdom from the Lord – this Wednesday evening – your prayers make a difference!

In reverence to the Lord and His Word – we ask for your cooperation to not be a distraction to others by leaving your seat once the service has started, the exception being parents taking children to junior worship and Sunday school classes. Please wait until the close of worship before leaving as people can be distracted while reflecting on God’s message to them.

…simply teaching the Bible simply….

“A man is what he is on his knees before God, and nothing more.” “For every look at self, take ten looks at Christ.” “The Christian is a person who makes it easy for others to believe in God.”
Robert Murray M’Cheyne

From the Pastors Desk As the events in Israel and the Red Sea escalate, and there is tension now between Iran and Pakistan. It is still the problems in our own lives that hit us the hardest and that we are forever having to deal with. Each Sunday, we could preach on marriage, parenting, forgiveness, pain and sorrow and not miss what’s happening. These issues are our real world, just as much as the wars in the Middle East. People continue to marry, raise children, and loved ones die in our world, as a constant. I struggle as a Christian to know how unbelievers cope at all with all this going on in ‘their’ lives. I deal often with non-Christians seeking help and wisdom from me as a Pastor.. My words of advice are only effective however, if those struggling know Christ as their Saviour. For He is our Helper, our Strength, and our Hope. But the greater sadness that strikes me as too it must the Lord, is when His own people ignore His help and His Word. For then we are left to our own devices! Let us be a people who heed God’s Word, who obeys the voice of the Holy Spirit, so that we might live in His peace!
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Helen’s Heart He has now reconciled you in order to present you before God Holy and blameless and beyond reproof – Col 1:22 The world demands polished and perfect, so we all feel the pressure to live up to this version of happiness. God, however, knows we are unable to produce perfection. That is why He gave us Jesus, the perfect Son of God – our position of perfect righteousness is only in Him. Let God mould you into His image this week.

Grace Giving 2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. Bible Teachers – Over the years many men have approached me about the desire to teach the Bible. I always remember Ps Chuck Smith saying he had many men approach him often too with the same question. His response was always, “Sign up then for Sunday school and begin your teaching ministry there. It will test your calling and prove your faithfulness. For if you are not disciplined enough, nor filled with humility to teach the hungriest of hearts, then you will not be able to minister to those older in years.”
