Today we will be having a Sunday school graduation – welcoming into the main sanctuary our youngest saints. Please pray for these our younger brothers and sisters in Christ!

From the Pastors Desk Today we have a wonderful Sunday school graduation as part of our service. We will give each child a Bible and a notebook for sermon notes. As they begin being a part of the adult teaching service, the role and responsibility of their parents increases another level. There is a possibility of boredom and disconnection if their parents don’t use this time of family worship for practical discipleship. A child won’t bring or use their Bible if dad or mum don’t. Likewise, taking notes of what God is saying to them or questions they may seek answers to, are the green shoots of Christian maturity and learning. Dads and mums, now prepare your child for each Sunday service. Read with them the upcoming text. During the service reflect, react with them on points of the message that impact upon you. After the service, talk with them at home about what they learnt. What they did not understand and importantly what God spoke to them about in the message. Your children are the future pastors, Sunday school teachers, worship servants, prayer warriors. God has placed these young one’s in your care for His glory! Gen 18:19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him. The Church is always one generation away from extinction.

Helen’s Heart For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord. They are plans for good and not disaster, to give you a future and a hope – Jer 29:11 A sense of purpose and fulfillment holds great power in the life of a believer. They should excite us, motivate, and energize us to seek Him knowing His plans are only good, pure and the best for us. As we train our children, we need them to understand their lives have a God given purpose that He will fulfill through them. Pray that they will follow the plan God has for them, the direction they need to go, the dangers to avoid and the final destination of their journey.
Grace Giving 2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. We encourage all of you who are part of our Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour Fellowship family to give without obligation but with a cheerful heart of worship. Your gifts allow God’s work to be done in our surrounding communities. Located on the eastern side of the sanctuary is a container for your grace giving – With the Commonwealth Bank

Calvary Chapel Nasinu –
Ps Charles and family are still on break at the moment.

“If Christ is not all to you He is nothing to you. He will never go into partnership as a part Saviour of men. If He be something He must be everything, and if He be not everything He is nothing to you.”
― Charles Spurgeon

Luk 23:45 Then the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two.:46 And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit.’ ” Having said this, He breathed His last:47So when the centurion saw what had happened, he glorified God, saying, “Certainly this was a righteous Man!”
