In reverence to the Lord and His Word – we ask for your cooperation to not be a distraction to others by leaving your seat once the service has started, the exception being parents taking children to junior worship and Sunday school classes. Please wait until the close of worship before leaving as people can be distracted while reflecting on God’s message to them.

From the Pastors Desk
Starting out this year in Genesis has been a true directive from God, for it appears that clarity and understanding of God’s Word have become a thing of the past. Paul warned us many times that the Last Days would be filled with false teachers and perilous times – 2 Tim 3:1-7. Whenever I have found myself lost, I always work my way back to where I began so that I might find the right way to where I need to go. As a young Christian, I had a massive fear of making the wrong decision. It did not stop me from making many, however. But, as I have grown older in years with the Lord, I am never in a hurry to make any decision. Secondly, I commit my decisions to Christ after waiting on Him for His wisdom and guidance through His Word. That does not mean I won’t make a mistake in my decision-making. But it means that I am confident that God will help me find the right way. This year don’t trust in your own ability to make any decisions. Instead, wait and wait some more and then lay your decision down at God’s feet. Have a heart that is open to God changing your direction, and you will make the right decision and end up at the correct location.
Helen’s Heart Complete the work by doing what you are able to do – 2 Cor 8:11 At times rearing our pre-school children, I would feel there was so more I could ‘do for the Lord’. I remember my inner conversation, “Lord I want to spread your Word, bring others to salvation….” And then He whispered in my heart, ‘In as much as you have done it unto the least of these My brethren, you have done it unto Me.’ I took stock of my life and realised this was the ministry that God had placed in my hands and entrusted me with. So from that moment every seeming menial task – laundry, every meal, every devotion with my children, I did it unto Him and found a new sense of joy. If we accept what He offers us to do and do it with love and commitment, He says ‘even a cup of cold water will not go without its reward.’ May your work of love be multiplied this week! – Helen.
