We will rejoice and be glad in it.

Tuesday 9:30am – Calvary Women’s Bible Study

Good Friday Service 6:00pm –

In reverence to the Lord and His Word – we ask for your cooperation to not be a distraction to others by leaving your seat once the service has started, the exception being parents taking children to junior worship and Sunday school classes. Please wait until the close of worship before leaving as people can be distracted while reflecting on God’s message to them.

This week at Calvary
Have a joyous Palm Sunday today! Our Easter services commence this morning with Palm Sunday. Next Wednesday evening will be outside in our Olive Garden with a very different look at the events of Gethsemane with a personal overview from the Apostle Peter! Chairs, blankets, bug spray and covering clothing would be wise to bring. Following this, on Good Friday, we will be having a special evening service at 6:00pm here at the chapel which we pray you will join us with your family and friends. Easter Sunday we will celebrate the Resurrection of Christ with Holy Communion. Calvary Women – this coming Tuesday your dedicated Bible study is here at the chapel starting at 9:30am – be sure to be here with the other women of God. This week let us be in prayer as we invite family and friends to join with us here at CCSH or on line if they are overseas or otherwise to be here physically.
From the Pastors Desk
People often ask what are the order of events that await the Church today and the world in regard to Bible prophecy. I have listed them as follows for a quick table of the sequence of events – 1. The Church will be raptured. 2. The 7-year Tribulation will begin. 3. The ‘man of sin’ the Antichrist will be fully manifested, he will assume world political supremacy and will claim religious homage via the False Prophet. 4. The ‘man of sin’ will establish a 7-year covenant with the Jews but will breach it after 3 ½ years. He will set out to destroy God’s ancient people. 5. After 7 years of cataclysmic events here on earth Christ will return and He will destroy the man of sin and the false prophet. Jesus will cast the devil into the bottomless pit for 1,000 years. 6. The millennial period will then be inaugurated. Sin will be suppressed but not exterminated. Christ will rule with a rod of iron, and universal peace and blessing will be enjoyed. 7. Satan will be loosed for the final time which will be the earth’s last revolt. This will be met by disastrous punishment for the rebels and their leader. 8. The last judgment will be set up, and Christ as the supreme Judge will preside at the condemnation of the ungodly. 9. The eternal age, with its permanent destinies, will begin after Jesus delivers up the kingdom to the Father. Then God will be all in all!
Grace Giving
2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. Helen’s Heart
I am the Vine and you are the branches. He/She who abides in Me and I in him/her bears much fruit. For without me you can do nothing. John 15:15 Jesus has promised us an abundant fruitful life. This occurs when we are ‘abiding’ in Christ through prayer, studying His Word and fellowship. 1 John 2 verse 6 tells us in order to abide in Him we must walk just as our Lord walked. Walking is a steady motion – in order to get benefits, we need to stick with it. In order to grow in our relationship with the Lord we need to have consistency. A key to ‘abiding’ is to take time every day in the disciplines outlined above. As with walking it is not a quick process but if we ‘stick with it’ we will have results of abundant fruit!

“Without the resurrection, the cross is meaningless.” “The cross shows us the seriousness of our sin—but it also shows us the immeasurable love of God.” – Billy Graham
