A Ministry position to be filled – for the Calvary Youth – we are looking for a man or men who can roster on as Adult Security when Calvary Youth gather every second fortnight. Please pray for God’s wisdom in all these matters. Please be in prayer also for family and friends you are hoping will join with you for our Easter services.
From the Pastors Desk
This year, the USA will have its presidential election between Joe Biden and Donald Trump. Bible commentators have always pondered the lack of mention of the mighty USA in Bible prophecy. There is no mention, whilst all other dominant world powers play some part. Over the years, there have been many suppositions regarding the USA’s lack of mention. Some believe that the Rapture of the Church will have a massive impact on the nation as a whole. Others say that internal conflict will loom large in this nation where there still is much unrest racially since the Civil War. However, the Bible tells us the main focus of our attention is to be the nation Israel. All other nations play only a minor part, but Israel holds centre stage in these Last Days. Mar 13:28: “Now learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its branches bud and its leaves begin to sprout, you know that summer is near.:29 In the same way, when you see all these things taking place, you can know that his return is very near, right at the door.” Right now, the focus of the world is on the nation Israel, and this will not change but only increase. The Church will soon be raptured, and Israel will begin the 70th week of Daniels’ prophecy. Time is short!

Helen’s Heart For as he thinks within himself, so is he…Proverbs 23:7 Many things can depress us, disappointment, illness, even the weather. All our encounters in life have a mixture of good and bad so it is not the circumstances in which we are placed but the manner in which we meet them, that makes for our comfort. We can forget that God is not only a comfort in our lives but a joy. We are meant to enjoy Him and His pleasures forever (Ps 16:11) and think on our many blessings – we are chosen, adopted, redeemed, we have an inheritance and sealed with the Holy Spirit. Bless the Lord!
