The events in Israel have certainly garnered our attention. Iran has launched hundreds of drones and missiles in a direct attack against Israel.
The Guardian media posted the following – “The prospect of a major regional war in the Middle East hangs in the balance on Sunday morning, when Benjamin Netanyahu’s war cabinet is due to meet to decide Israel’s response to Iran’s drone and missile attack.
Netanyahu’s ministers voted in the middle of the night to delegate that decision to the tiny war cabinet, comprising Netanyahu, defence minister Yoav Gallant and Benny Gantz, a Netanyahu opponent who joined the government as minister without portfolio after the Hamas 7 October attack, which began the spiral of violence that has brought Israel and Iran to the brink of war.”
What draws our attention specifically in this situation is that Iran (Persia) is one of the countries who will be part of the vast army that will come down upon Israel in Ezekiel 38:5.
Meanwhile Russia (Rosh) continues to be at war against Ukraine – Ezekiel 38: 2 – 6. Russia is very much now a battle experienced nation.
Both these nations will be involved in the great Battle that is yet to occur.
We as Christ’s Church can see that the pieces are continuing to be put in place and we can be assured that the time is ripening!
Let us keep our eyes fixed on the nation Israel as Jesus commanded, pray and be ready for the next step in Bible prophecy!
