Daily devotion – what is the watchman crying out to us in these Last Days?

Pastor Keith   -

This coming Sunday, I am taking a break from our series in Genesis to bring a special message on Bible prophecy in these Last Days. With recent events, especially the escalation of conflict between Israel and the nation of Iran direct.

Such an escalation at these times along with the growing unrest around the world, including the recent attacks in N.S.W. demand our attention and focus.

We cannot ignore the growing hostilities, unrest, fear and debauchery that is occurring in our world.

You will remember before God brought judgment down on Sodom and Gomorrah where Abraham’s nephew Lot and his family were residing, God revealed what He was about to do to Abraham causing Abraham to intercede for Lot and his family.

The Book of Revelation, the last book in the Bible, that goes into great detail of the Last Days events was written for God’s people to know what was coming.

Revelation 1: 1 This is a revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants the events that must soon take place. He sent an angel to present this revelation to his servant John, 2 who faithfully reported everything he saw. This is his report of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ.
3 God blesses the one who reads the words of this prophecy to the church, and he blesses all who listen to its message and obey what it says, for the time is near.

Notice in verse 1 who this book was written to and for – to the Lord’s servants – of the events that must soon take place!

I implore you to be praying for this Sunday’s services and that you will see that we cannot just go through the motion without emotion.

The Last Days are upon us all and we are not to be ignorant of what God is about to do!
