Grieving…
This week at Calvary Welcome to Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour this Sunday. If you would like prayer or to be able talk to someone about how to become a Christian. Please see one of the Elders or Pastors after the service at the front of the sanctuary. The year is flashing by so quickly with ANZAC Day soon upon us and then in May we have our special Mother’s Day service. We continue to seek servants who want to be a blessing here at CCSH by being part of the ministry teams. Simply fill in a Connection Card available at our information desk at the entrance of the Church and place it in our offering container. You will notice that we do not take up an offering, but we have an offering box available for you at the left rear of the sanctuary for you to place your tithes and offerings. Next week we will be having a blessed baby dedication as part of our morning service. We place a heavy emphasis on prayer here at Calvary and invite you to join us each Wednesday evening at 7:00pm as we gather to intercede for our nation, our Church, and our families. We look for more men to step forward to be Sunday school teachers here at CCSH. This is a ministry that can impact a child’s life for eternity – do you have the gift of teaching; do you know the Word of God. Be a blessing and fill this precious ministry.
From the Pastors Desk Our federal government continues to call for Israel to become a two-state region to bring ‘peace’ to the middle east. It is obvious they sadly are blind to the truth of the real situation in Israel, to God’s plan and His people Israel, and are lenient towards the terrorist group Hamas. Our task as Christ’s Church is twofold. Firstly, to remember that what we are seeing on the world political scene, the Bible predicted would happen in these Last Days. Israel will eventually be abandoned by all western powers including Australia. Secondly, that this matter does not change our role in our praying for our government and interceding especially on behalf of our backslidden nation. And to also pray for Israel. Let us not lose hope nor become fearful as these Last Days events unfold. Instead, let us be even more diligent in our walk with God. Let us do what Jesus commanded at this time – that being to ‘watch and pray’ as the Day draws nearer. We are seeing Bible prophecy being fulfilled before our eyes. Christ’s return is closer now than ever before. Remember He promised He would come for us – John 14:1-6.
PS Let us pray for the families of those killed in the Bondi Terrorist attack. Our nation needs prayer!

Calvary Chapel Nasinu We pray for CC Nasinu that the local Church there will grow and provide support for Ps Charles and his family. We pray for God to raise up young men and women to work alongside him in teaching the Word of God in Nasinu.

With this knowledge it makes sense to surrender all to God and thus allow God to work His best in our lives. Can you trust God with your future? We have received the Spirit where we can cry “Abba Father”. He is our loving Dad. Trust Him with all that concerns you – Helen.
