Calvary Women
Date: May 28

This Tuesday morning, Calvary Ladies are meeting here at the Chapel for a blessed time of fellowship. Join us for an enriching experience with your sisters in Christ.

Teaching the Word of God
Many people desire to know and teach the Word of God. This is a noble desire. The children of CCSH, our smallest saints, need people who love Christ, love His Word, and have the gift of teaching to minister to their hungry hearts. This is a calling from God, not a fill-in, and therefore we seek only dedicated, loving, and biblically sound people to be part of this blessed opportunity. Please pray for our Sunday school teachers!

Ministry Opportunities
There are always ministry opportunities for those who believe CCSH is their home church. The local body of Christ where God has placed you gives you the opportunity to serve Him for His glory and the church’s blessing. If you feel called to serve, please fill out one of our Connection Cards and place it in the offering container, and the process will begin.

From the Pastors Desk Today is the Day of Salvation

Where Do You Stand with Jesus Christ?
A world without Christ would be hell. As we wake up each morning, we find ourselves seeing our world spiraling toward its ultimate destiny. This morning, I want to speak to your heart about where you stand with Jesus Christ, the Son of God. You are either for Him or against Him. Just as there is no casual or part-time relationship in a marriage, neither is there with our Lord and Savior.

We are either worshippers of Him or we are idolaters who have other things before Him. Jesus will not accept second place in our hearts. He is either Lord or He is not. He is either our Savior or we make Him a religious figure of no value.

When Jesus died on the Cross at Calvary, it was not symbolic, neither was it painless or, as some call it, a ‘swooning’. No, a Man died, the Son of God, an innocent Man died in our place, taking on our sin and shame, to demonstrate God’s love for each of us and making the way for us to be saved.

Today, will you come before Him, repent, fall on your face, and worship Him? Will you now walk before Him and let Him lead and guide you as the Good Shepherd? For this Shepherd loves His sheep and He calls them by name, and they know His voice.

If you deny Him, when you die, you will spend eternity in Hell, alone, in the dark, without Love, without Light, and it will be a matter of choice – no one else will you be able to blame but yourself.

Join us this morning as we glorify the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords – Jesus is His name. Today is the day of salvation!

Helen’s Heart Psa 18:18 They confronted me in the day of my calamity, It seems when you are down the enemy wants to keep you down. Have you ever had one of those weeks (or months) where you just want to hide yourself in a cave out of harms way? You pray and things do not improve – it may be an illness, a friction with a member of your family or a financial situation. We can feel abandoned, yet the opposite is true. When we are at our lowest point, we are more so the object of God’s concern. Call on Me in the day of trouble and I will answer you…

Grace Giving
2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. We encourage all of you who are part of our Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour Fellowship family to give without obligation but with a cheerful heart of worship. Your gifts allow God’s work to be done in our surrounding communities.
