Daily devotion – Give voice to your worship and praise!

Pastor Keith   -

Psalm 5:1 Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.
Psa 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Ecc 10:12 The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious;

Rom 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

There is a time for silent mediation and quiet reflection with thanksgiving.

But there is also a time when we need to actually speak, to use your given voice, to say out aloud with song or words of praise, or in words of prayer, to speak to our Lord.

There are times when I have for some period, only expressed all my communication to God quietly within myself. What happens I believe if we only take this course is we cut off a valuable release in our spirit, that only occurs with audible thanksgiving and praise, to speak if we are able, aloud to God.

Maybe you have for some time been only ever reflective, especially in Church where you have not let your voice rise or your prayers be heard. I urge you if that has been your course, to liberate yourself and express your relationship to God with voice and spoken words.

Give this a venture this week in your daily meeting with God and I believe that you will enjoy a greater expression and beautiful release as you glorify your Lord with voice! Your God given voice!
