This week at Calvary
Welcome to Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour today. If you would like to know how to become a follower of Christ, please see one our pastors or elders directly after the service and they will assist you and pray with you to receive Christ. This morning we are showing a short film clip of the ministry of Operation Christmas Child. We pray that you will consider being part of this great outreach to children all over the world to enable them to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ and receive a Christmas shoe box of gifts. Pastor Keith and Helen will be attending the Calvary Chapel Pastors conference next week so will be away next Sunday only. Lord willing, some guest speakers can be arranged to visit with us here at CCSH as part of their time with the other Calvary Chapel pastors. In addition, they will be sharing the blessings of what the Lord is doing here in Secret Harbour as well. Please remember to pray with us at 7:30pm each Wednesday if you are unable to be with us here at the chapel in person.

From the Pastors Desk

“Is the Middle East finally on the brink of Armageddon?
There are just so many pivotal actors, so many moving parts, in the Middle East security theatre that miscalculation and devastating conflict are real possibilities. Two other factors make the situation even worse.” – The Australian Newspaper this week posted this photo and these headlines on the situation in the Middle East. The Last Days and the Signs of Christ’s Return –
When secular newspapers start discussing Bible prophecy, it’s a clear indication that we are living in extraordinary times— the Last Days before Christ’s return for His Church. There’s significant debate about whether Iran will independently launch an attack on Israel or if Israel will strike first to protect itself from a major threat. Recent developments have intensified these discussions, such as Russian President Vladimir Putin’s meeting with Iran’s leaders, where he pledged ongoing support to Iran in its conflict with Israel. While I believe the stage is not entirely set for the prophesied Ezekiel 38 invasion of the Holy Land, the movements and alliances forming in the world are certainly noteworthy. This period of “jostling and positioning” among nations should not be dismissed lightly. In Europe, countries like the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, and France are experiencing internal turmoil and violence, exacerbated by recent events, particularly since the October 7 terrorist attack on Israel. Many people struggle to understand why Israel remains at the heart of these global conflicts. However, as Christians, we remember Jesus’ warning to watch the “fig tree,” a symbol of Israel, as the signs of His return and the coming Tribulation begin to unfold. In these challenging times, it is crucial to remain steadfast in our faith. I encourage you and your family to stay rooted in God’s Word, find strength in daily devotion, and gather with fellow believers whenever possible. As we witness these prophetic events unfold, we should do so with hope and anticipation, looking up, for our redemption is drawing near. Let us remain vigilant, prayerful, and prepared as we await the fulfillment of God’s promises.

Helen’s Heart 1Jo 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, A walking partner helps one keep the pace up, makes the exercise more enjoyable when sharing the scenery and conversation. As a Christian, God has made a walking path for you. He has a planned designation and is our ‘walking partner’ through our journey. His presence is always evident along our walk of faith – the days are fashioned for you Psalm 139. We just need to draw near to Him and follow His lead.

Grace Giving 2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. We encourage all of you who are part of our Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour Fellowship family to give without obligation but with a cheerful heart of worship. Your gifts allow God’s work to be done in our surrounding communities. Account name – Calvary Chapel Church Secret Harbour Incorporated – Account – 10891970 – BSB – 066-516.

Our prayers break the soil and allow the seed to be planted by the ministry of CC Nasinu. Let us keep praying so that we can continue the ploughing! In partnership with Ps Charles, his wife Tina and family.
