How and What to Pray for CC Nasinu in Fiji

Last Wednesday night’s prayer service and last Sunday morning’s church gathering, I mentioned ways that we as a church can be praying for CC Nasinu in Fiji.

Here’s a prayer list for Charles, his family, and their ministry in Nasinu, Fiji:

  1. Provision for Daily Needs
  • Pray for God’s provision in the cost of living for Charles, Tina, Elizabeth, Philip, Charles Jnr, and those they support.
  • Ask for financial blessings and practical resources to sustain their household and ministry.
  1. Strength and Unity in Family Life
  • Pray for strength, unity, and peace in their family as they navigate the pressures of ministry and cultural expectations.
  • Ask for God’s wisdom in balancing family responsibilities with ministry demands.
  • The timing of a possible visit by their family to CCSH to visit the church and have a time of refreshing in Western Australia.
  1. Ministry Impact
  • Lift up their weekly church services, young adult meetings, and youth meetings, that God would continue to draw people to Himself.
  • Pray for an authentic expression of faith to grow in their community and for lives to be transformed through their ministry.
  1. Church Building
  • Pray for the provision of a dedicated church building where they can meet, worship, and serve the community more effectively.
  1. Volunteers and Support
  • Pray that God would send willing servants to come alongside them for 3-6 month trips, providing hands-on support and encouragement.
  • Ask for wisdom for the church (CCSH) as it discerns how best to support them, including through practical items for Sunday school, ministry equipment, and visits.
  1. Cultural Expectations
  • Pray for grace and wisdom as they navigate the cultural expectations placed upon them by the villages they are aligned with.
  • Ask that God would provide the resources and strength to be hospitable while maintaining healthy boundaries.
  1. Spiritual Growth in Fiji
  • Pray for a deeper, authentic Christian faith to spread throughout Fiji, moving beyond cultural traditions to a lived-out, vibrant relationship with Christ.
  • Ask for God’s guidance for Charles and his family as they minister in a country undergoing social and spiritual shifts.
  1. Blessing for Future Church Visits
  • Pray for clarity and divine timing as the church (CCSH) considers sending teams to visit and support the ministry in Fiji, that they may be a blessing and bring encouragement.
