Daily devotion – please pray!
2 Chronicles 7:14 is a powerful call for us to humble ourselves, seek God’s face, and turn from wickedness, trusting that He will heal our land when we do so.
As we see the enemy at work in Australia today through the celebrations of atrocities committed on October 7th, let us stand firm as the watchmen did in Ezekiel 3:17, raising the alarm through prayer and intercession. Our role is to stand in the gap, praying for justice, peace, and the protection of God’s people, while also trusting that the Lord is in control.
Isaiah 54:17 assures us that no weapon formed against God’s people shall prosper, and we know that through prayer, we can push back the darkness. Even as troubling events unfold around us, we can be confident that God hears the cries of His people, and He will act in His perfect time.
May we all join together in prayer today, seeking the Lord’s intervention, and trusting Him for the victory. Let’s be bold in our faith and fervent in our prayers, knowing that we are standing in the gap for our nation and for the protection of the innocent.
The Lord bless you as you stand watch and fight this spiritual battle!
