Daily devotion – the wonder of God’s throne will be seen

Pastor Keith   -

Psa 16:11 You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Sunday afternoon, resting and waiting on God and setting our heart to gather again at Church tonight to worship and hear God’s Word. True joys of walking with God that are available to us each week!

But my heart also looks further ahead – to the time when my life in this world will have ceased. Either God will call me home or the rapture will have taken us all.

Then, Heaven awaits and especially the wonder and privilege of sitting before the throne of God – the Heavenly throne where according to Isaiah the prophet I will see the Lord sitting on His throne, and the train of His robe filling the temple.

Around I will look and see for the first time the Seraphim, the rank of angelic beings that are positioned each side of His throne.

My ears for the first time will hear the voices of these mighty angels as they cry out to one another – “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!’

As they cry out I will notice the posts of the door shaking because of the Seraphim’s voices and the Shekinah glory of God will fill the air. (Isaiah 6:1-4)

Yes, Heaven soon will be my abode and the wonders that I will experience and see will be amazing – just as they Psalmist said they would be – “In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

Soon!
