Daily devotion – a glimpse of Heaven

Pastor Keith   -

 Psalm 127:3-4

“Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.”

There are moments in our lives that feel like glimpses of Heaven. We might see a breathtaking sunrise or sunset, or perhaps we pause to marvel at the intricate beauty and vibrant color of a rose.

For those blessed with marriage and children, it might be a tender smile or a heartfelt word from your little one. For others, it could be the precious opportunity to reconnect with a now-grown son or daughter, sharing in their journey.

Sometimes, these moments come as memories—a fleeting chance to revisit the past and see a child, now older, through the lens of time. These brief flashes bring a flood of wonder, joy, and overwhelming thankfulness.

In these moments, God gently pulls back the curtain of Heaven, giving us a glimpse of the eternal joy and glory that await us.

Come quickly, Lord Jesus!
