We are so glad you joined us today. Here’s what’s happening at CCSH this week: 📖 Calvary Women – This Tuesday at 9:30 AM, come and be encouraged as you gather with other godly women for a time of study in God’s Word, fellowship, and prayer. 🙌 Calvary Men – It was a blessing to see so many of you worship and hear God’s Word last Friday evening! If you missed it, see Pastor Israel for the next gathering date. 🇮🇱 Special Event – This Wednesday Evening! Our special guest from Israel, Yaniv Wainshtain, will be explaining the Jewish Passover ceremony in a way that deepens our understanding of its significance.
📌 Next Sunday Evening – Q&A with Yaniv Wainshtain
Join us for an exclusive Q&A session as Yaniv shares insights on the current events in Israel following the October 7, 2023 attack by Hamas. No live streaming or recording due to the sensitivity of the information. No mobile phones allowed inside the chapel during the service. QR Code will be available for submitting your questions in advance. If you want real insights into the war in Israel, don’t miss this special event!

Pastor’s Pen
No Delays with God – If you have any knowledge of large navy ships or cruise vessels, you would understand the challenges of turning such massive ships around when someone goes overboard. The process takes time, effort, and a significant distance before the vessel can be redirected for a rescue. Thankfully, this is not the case in our lives with Christ. When a sinner seeks God, or when a believer decides to fully commit to serving Christ, change does not require days, months, or years. Repentance and obedience can happen in an instant. God is always ready to receive us the moment we turn to Him.
Friday evening, the Calvary men were challenged by the words of Joshua to be men of God. The call to faithfulness and obedience does not require waiting—it is a decision we can make right now. Are you feeling the Lord calling you out of sin? Is He leading you to greater discipleship and maturity in Him?
Simply pray, surrender your heart to Him, and allow God to have His way in your life. Transformation begins in that very moment. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
—2 Corinthians 5:17

Calvary Chapel Nasinu – Fiji We spoke to Pastor Charles yesterday. He is currently teaching through the book of Hebrews Sunday mornings with the Church. He wished to thank the Church again for our support and prayers. Please pray for Ps Charles to have his eye tested so he can obtain some prescription glasses for reading. We will be mailing this week another box of Sunday school teaching and exercise books to Fiji.
“The thermometer of a church is its prayer meeting.” – Vance Havner
“Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz warned that Israel would begin annexing territory in the Gaza Strip and evacuating its population if Hamas does not release the remaining Israeli hostages in captivity.”
Helen’s Heart – Mat 9:36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
One of the highlights of our trips to Israel is to experience the Garden of Gethsemane. Sitting among the 2,000 year old olive trees and seeing the location where the disciples rested and our beloved Lord prayed so earnestly. Our Lord agonised not for what He was about to experience but because of His compassion for mankind. I am so thankful for His great loving kindness toward me and bless Him for His gift of salvation.
