Palm Sunday & Baby Dedication

Today we joyfully celebrate Palm Sunday—the day our Lord Jesus rode into Jerusalem, fulfilling prophecy as the coming King. We also celebrate a blessed baby dedication, committing this little one to the Lord in the presence of the church family.
Evening Service – 1 Corinthians
Tonight at 6:00pm, Pastor Israel continues his teaching through the book of 1 Corinthians, focusing on Chapter 10. Come and be encouraged as we walk through God’s Word together.
Olive Garden Service – Wednesday 6:30pm (Weather Permitting)
This Wednesday evening, we will meet outdoors once again for our Olive Garden Service, taking us back to the solemn evening in the Garden of Gethsemane. It was there, following a time of intense prayer, that Christ was arrested—betrayed by Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve who had walked with Jesus for nearly three years.
Bring a jacket, just in case the weather turns cool.
Good Friday – Special Service
Join us Good Friday at 6:00pm for a special Easter message from Pastor Israel as we remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.
Easter Sunday – Resurrection & Communion
Next Sunday morning, we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ with joy and thanksgiving. We will also share in Communion together as we remember the victory of the empty tomb.
It’s a full and sacred week—remembering the greatest story ever told: the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
Men – A Call to Teach and Lead
Men, here is a wonderful opportunity to invest in the smallest saints among us. Help shape the next generation by teaching God’s Word in Junior Church.

Pastor’s Pen
Palm Sunday has always held a special place in my heart. I’m sure I mention it each Easter season—and for good reason. As a child, I remember the wonder of walking into church and seeing palm branches decorating the chapel, some scattered along the aisles. There was even a distinct fragrance that came with the freshly cut palms—one that still lingers in my memory.
Today, across Australia, many schools and government bodies are banning traditional Easter observances, preventing children from hearing and celebrating the true meaning of this sacred time. Too often, this shift stems from a general lethargy—even within Christian families—where Easter is viewed simply as a time for vacation. We the Church are responsible! So today, I want to lovingly challenge all parents and families here at CCSH: let’s give this most precious time of the Christian calendar the attention and reverence it deserves in our homes. If we do nothing, our nation will continue to drift further from Christ. This week, I urge you to gather your children and: Tell them the story of Palm Sunday—and why this day matters. Walk through the events of the Garden of Gethsemane. Explain the meaning and weight of Good Friday. And most importantly, celebrate the joy and hope of Christ’s Resurrection—the glorious truth that changes everything. Let’s ensure our homes reflect the reality of Easter: the greatest story ever told, lived out in full colour through our families.

Grace Giving 2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. We encourage all of you who are part of our Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour Fellowship family to give without obligation but with a cheerful heart of worship. Your gifts allow God’s work to be done in our surrounding communities. Account name – Calvary Chapel Church Secret Harbour Incorporated – Account – 10891970 – BSB – 066-516.

Helen’s Heart Be still, my daughter – Ruth 3:18 Throughout the book of Ruth, God speaks to her heart, not to fear, God will bless her and deal kindly with her. These words of comfort gave her peace and established her. When I struggle, or I am anxious, I do well to be ‘still’ and rest in Jesus’ comfort. If you are unsettled, worried these words can be just as encouraging: because you are a daughter of the Heavenly Father!
