What’s On This Week –
This Friday at CCSH – Our Children’s and Youth Groups will be meeting here at the church. For more information, please see Pastor Nathanael. Holy Communion – Sunday, June 1st (Evening Service)
Mark your calendar and plan to join us for Holy Communion during our 6:00pm evening service. Let’s gather in reverence and remembrance of our Lord. Wednesday Night Prayer – If you’re unable to attend our 7:30pm midweek prayer gathering in person, we encourage you to gather your family and pray together from home. Let’s remain united in prayer for the Church, wherever we are.
Service Courtesy Reminder – If you know you’ll need to leave the service early, please inform one of the ushers upon arrival. They will seat you near the back to help minimise disruptions during the teaching of God’s Word. Thank you for helping us maintain a focused and worshipful environment.
Men – Join the Junior Church Teaching Team!
We’re looking for godly men to help teach in Junior Church on Sunday mornings. Our children would be greatly encouraged by your presence and example. Please speak with Pastor Nathanael if you’re interested in joining the teaching roster.
“You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.” – Deuteronomy 11:19
Outdoor Play Guidelines -As our Church family grows, we are updating our safety measures:
Ball sports are now only permitted before the service. The basketball hoop will be permanently stationed on the west side of the outdoor patio and remains accessible after the morning service.
Thank you, parents, for your understanding and support in helping us ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all.

Pastor’s Pen
This past week, we saw the very real and tragic face of antisemitism with the cold-blooded murder of Yaron Lischinsky and his partner Sarah Milgrim. Both were employees of the Israeli Embassy in the United States and were killed in a shooting in Washington, D.C., on May 21, 2025. Yaron and Sarah were not only Jewish but also Messianic believers in Jesus. In addition, the governments of the UK, France, and Canada have issued strong warnings against Israel, condemning what they called “egregious actions” in Gaza and threatening joint measures unless Israel halts its intensified military campaign. On May 8, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed that Israel would “defend ourselves alone” against the Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen. This declaration followed a deal reportedly struck between the Houthi group and former US President Donald Trump, signaling further isolation for Israel on the world stage. The Bible clearly foretells that antisemitism will rise in the Last Days and that Israel will eventually be forced to stand alone (Zechariah 12:3). These events unfolding in our headlines reflect the prophetic warnings of Scripture. Yet much of the Church continues in spiritual slumber, absorbed in self-indulgence rather than sober watchfulness. The coming of Christ for His Church is closer now than ever before in history. “Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning.” — Mark 13:35 Let us remain prayerful, vigilant, and steadfast in our support for the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. The time is short.

Grace Giving 2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. We encourage all of you who are part of our Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour Fellowship family to give without obligation but with a cheerful heart of worship. Your gifts allow God’s work to be done in our surrounding communities. Account name – Calvary Chapel Church Secret Harbour Incorporated – Account – 10891970 – BSB – 066-516.

Helen’s heart Study to be quiet – 1 Thess 4:11 The world rushes around frantically and disturbed while the child of God quietly steps aside and watches God work. A quiet spirit speaks of confidence and humility knowing our resource is totally the Lord. Andrew Murray says. “It is to have a blessed home in the Lord, where I can go in and shut the door, and kneel to my Father in secret, at peace…when all around is trouble.” Job in the midst of all his losses learned to say, He giveth quietness. .. We too can be as contented amid sunshine or storm as quiet. “A soul quite enough hears God speak..”

Assemble the people before me to hear my words so that they may…teach them to their children – Deuteronomy 4:10 “Many children today are growing up without discipline. As they become adults and the discipline of job or family demands are placed upon them they do not know how to cope…children need discipline to be useful members of society. Likewise, God’s children need discipline to be useful members of His family” – Billy Graham.
