What’s on this week
Welcome to Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour!
If you haven’t accessed our bulletin online, hard copies are available at the information desk.
We have just a few Calvary Chapel Youth hoodies remaining for purchase. Please see Noah Carmody for payment—they would make a wonderful Christmas gift!
Christmas Eve — Only 26 days away!
Begin inviting family and friends—send an email, SMS, or personal invitation—to join you for our beautiful Christmas Eve service as we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
At the conclusion of each service, our pastors and elders are available at the front of the sanctuary to pray with you if you have any need.
Last Wednesday we experienced one of the most amazing times of prayer at our Thanksgiving gathering here at the chapel. Hearing each person give thanks to God from the depths of their hearts was such a privilege.
As Christmas approaches, bless yourself and your family by joining us on the Wednesdays leading up to Christmas. Let us join with you in prayer for your loved ones. Time is short, and prayer is the most loving and powerful ministry you can offer to both your saved family and especially your unsaved loved ones.
Will you pray for them?

From the Pastor’s Pen
Busy About the Father’s Business – As Christmas approaches, my heart always turns to one great question:
How can I reach the unsaved people I regularly come into contact with before Christmas? This season, I have been preparing intentionally. I’ve purchased a number of Bibles that I will wrap as gifts and quietly place at different worksites—each one accompanied by a card for those I am praying will receive a Bible this Christmas, even though they do not yet know the Lord. For others, I will be making a simple phone call—wishing them a blessed Christmas and inviting them to join us for our Christmas Eve service, whether in person or online. A small act, but one the Lord can use mightily. Remember, we are God’s ambassadors. We are His messengers. And right now, we are living in a season filled with opportunity—perhaps the greatest opportunity of the year—to share the Gospel with those around us. Christmas softens hearts. It awakens memories. It prompts questions. And it opens doors that are often closed at other times. I pray that you and your family are also busy about the Father’s business in these days—planning ahead, praying earnestly, and asking the Lord how you can bring the true story of Christmas to those who are still living without Christ.
Be encouraged to involve your children as well. Teach them how they can touch the hearts of their friends, bless a teacher, or show kindness to a neighbour in a way that reflects the love of Jesus and shines the hope of a glorious future. This is our moment. This is our season.
Let us give the greatest gift we can offer— the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 2Co 5:20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.

Helen’s heart
He has put a new song in my mouth- praise to our God. Many will see it and fear and will trust in the Lord – Psalm 40:3 To a lot of rhetorical questions, there are biblical answers. For instance- “What’s new?” In Lamentations 3:23 tells of Gods mercies are ‘new every morning.” Like David the psalmist, we can have a ‘new song’ from the Lord – Psalm 40:3. We have a new heart and a new spirit – Ezekiel 36:26 when we received Jesus as our Saviour. So perhaps next time you are asked “what’s new”, you can answer with the biblical and share your hope and joy. May you abound in hope through the power of the Holy Ghost – Romans 13:13
Calvary Chapel Women’s End of Year Celebration
