Welcome to Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour
This morning we gather and have the privilege to be able to give thanks to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for His love, grace and forgiveness. We also have the joy of being able to exhort and encourage one another in the things of the Lord. There will always be some in our midst who may have just received tragic news or experienced loss. However, we may also be the receivers of good news and victory from others. May we each be open to fellowship beyond own selves today. Take time to meet a new bother or sister in Christ today.
Baptism Service – Baptism sign up sheet at the information desk. If you have NOT been baptized we exhort you to take this step in obedience to God’s Word and publicly declare your devotion to Christ. This is an important step in your spiritual walk with God.
Servant Opportunities: There are a number of exciting serving opportunities here at CCSH. To fit all sorts of gifting and help be a blessing to the work of God being done here at Calvary. Fill in a Connection Card and place it the offering box with your details to serve in 2026.For example, if you become part of the media team, you can have a hand in getting the Word of God to many of the countries that tune in to CCSH here each Sunday and Wednesday. Be reminded that the pastors and elders are always available after each service to pray with you or to assist you with Biblical counsel.
It’s a long weekend this weekend, use this God given time to be with God’s family and join with us in our evening service tonight. God will speak to your heart through His Word when you make yourself willingly available. Time is short!

Grace Giving 2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. We encourage all of you who are part of our Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour Fellowship family to give without obligation but with a cheerful heart of worship. Your gifts allow God’s work to be done in “Judea, Samaria and the uttermost parts of the world.” Account name – Calvary Chapel Church Secret Harbour Incorporated – Account – 10891970 – BSB – 066-516.

From the Pastor’s Pen
Each Sunday as I gather with the body of Christ here at CCSH, I am reminded of my own unworthiness—and that it is only by the grace of God that I am able to experience the wonder of a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ, His Son, and in the power of His Holy Spirit working in and through my life. Church is a privilege, never a mere duty. The Bible speaks clearly of the holiness of God and of His worthiness alone to receive praise. It also reminds us of the importance of setting aside time to gather with God’s people, knowing—as the psalmist tells us—that the Lord dwells in the midst of the praises of His people.
Many struggle at times in worship—whether it be singing aloud, clapping their hands, or lifting their hands in praise. If this is you, I encourage you to undertake a personal Bible study on each of these expressions of worship. You will find biblical truth and encouragement for them all. And once you are aware of their biblical foundation, surrender your inhibitions and worship the Lord in obedience to His Word.
Postscript – I would like to personally encourage more of our men to seize the opportunity to teach in our Junior Church. You will be blessed as you step out in faith, and the children will be greatly encouraged to see and hear their dads teaching God’s Word. Please see Pastor Nathanael for more information on how you can be a blessing here at CCSH to our smallest saints.
Ezekiel 22:30 “So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land…”

Helen’s Heart
Am I now seeking favour of people or of God? Am I trying to please people? I am not a servant of Christ if I am still trying to please people – Gal 1:10
Often our actions can be directed by our thoughts of what ‘they’ think. This can be a heavy load on us. Rather, we should concern ourselves with what He thinks. As the Psalmist said, I have set the Lord always before me – Psalm 16. There is joy in trying to please Him and in doing so we cannot help but share this joy with others. Joy – is something that is multiplied when it is divided.

Australia Day – On a Sunday, the first service of public worship in Australia occurred at 10:00am, February 3, 1788 at a location called ‘a great tree’ close to the water of Sydney Harbour and here Reverend Richard Johnson, 32 years old, preached from Psa 116:12 What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me? Lieut. Ralph Clark reporting said, “ We had a very good sermon…the behaviour of the convicts was regular and attentive.”

2Ch 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
