For Your Diary
Welcome to Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour today. Let us come before the Lord with thanksgiving in our hearts, expecting Him to speak to each of us through the teaching of His Word. After each service, the pastors are available at the front of the sanctuary if you would like prayer.
Please join us again this evening at 6:00pm as Pastor Israel continues teaching through the book of Nehemiah.
This Friday evening, Calvary Kids and Calvary Youth will be gathering here at the chapel for the Word, prayer, and fellowship. Please take a moment Friday to drop in and join with them.
Our baptism service is approaching soon. Classes are currently taking place for those being baptised. Please see Pastor Israel for further information.
Next Sunday will be a special day as some of our youngest saints graduate from Junior Church to join us in the main sanctuary!
We will continue to monitor the situation regarding our planned trip to Israel. With the current conflict in the region, we may need to cancel if conditions worsen. Please continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Grace Giving 2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. We encourage all of you who are part of our Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour Fellowship family to give without obligation but with a cheerful heart of worship. From the Pastor’s Pen
A Time to Watch and Pray The world simply does not know what to do with the present conflict involving Iran, the United States, and Israel. Governments across the globe appear uncertain—stumbling over who to support, who to condemn, and how their own responses will be perceived by other world powers. While some nations speak loudly, others such as Russia and China remain more restrained publicly, yet are likely working diligently behind the scenes as they assess their strategic interests. As the conflict unfolds, the complexity of alliances and hostilities in the Middle East becomes more apparent. Israel has once again been forced to contend with threats on multiple fronts, including rocket attacks from Hezbollah in the north. These developments remind Bible students of the prophetic passages found in Ezekiel 38–39, which describe a future coalition of nations rising against Israel. When we read those chapters carefully and observe the nations named there, we cannot help but notice how the stage of the world continues to move toward the conditions Scripture foretold long ago. For the believer, these things are not meant to produce fear, but awareness. They remind us that history is not random; it is moving toward the fulfillment of God’s prophetic Word. In that sense, it is preparation time—a time for the Church to awaken, to pray, and to be faithful in proclaiming the gospel.
Meanwhile, here in Australia, life continues largely as normal. Yet Jesus warned that this would be the case in the days leading up to His return. In Luke 17:26–27 He said: “And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.”People were not condemned for eating, drinking, or marrying—those are normal parts of life. The problem was that they were living without any awareness of the coming judgment, ignoring the warnings God had given through Noah.We must pray and intercede that the Church in our nation does not fall asleep spiritually during such times. Instead, we are called to stand as watchmen, sounding the alarm with love and urgency, pointing people to the only refuge that God has provided—Jesus Christ. Just as Noah prepared an ark for the saving of his household, we must be faithful in pointing people to salvation before the day comes when the door closes. Lord, awaken Your Church in these days. Keep us from spiritual complacency while the world moves closer to the fulfillment of Your Word. Help us to watch, pray, and faithfully proclaim the gospel so that many may come to salvation in Jesus Christ before that day arrives. Amen.

Helen’s heart
Anxiety weighs down the heart but a kind word cheers it up – Prov 12:25 There are many devices of the world that produce anxiety: pressure to pay bills, provide for family, to give them the best in education, sports, music or arts. Paul tells the Church at Philippi how to deal with these pressures – Let your concerns be made to God. Proverbs tells us a kind word from others does not go astray either. So when you notice someone is distressed don’t dismiss them but give them the kind word of hope, and offer to pray with them and remind them of the promises of God to take care of them. Then watch and see the Peace of God keep them.
