Sunday 7th June 2026
Welcome to Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour today!
This morning we come to the Lord’s Table to remember Him and to give thanks. We take the bread and remember that Jesus gave His body to be broken for us. Then we take the cup and remember the new covenant through His blood, reminding us that our sins have been washed away and that we are now right with God — all because of His grace and mercy.
This table, this sacrament, is only to be received by those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Therefore, let us be mindful of who takes part in this blessed sacrament. Parents, we leave it to your discretion as to whether your child has received Christ as their Lord and Saviour and is therefore able to participate in this special time.
Calvary Women — This Tuesday here at the chapel, starting at 9:30am, is your special opportunity to gather with the women of Calvary for the study of God’s Word, prayer, and fellowship together. In addition, at the information desk is the sign-up sheet for catering purposes for your mid-year gathering here at the chapel on Thursday 18th June from 7:00–8:30pm. Be sure to invite a friend along for a wonderful evening of fellowship and encouragement in the Lord.
If you would like to know how to become a Christian today, or if you need prayer, after each service our pastors and elders are available to pray with you and share God’s Word with you.
Wednesday at 7:00pm — Join with us as we continue our Discipleship Night, including our verse-by-verse study through the book of Exodus, followed by prayer for the needs of CCSH. Make this a regular time of gathering and serving together with the body of Christ here at Calvary.
Friday night is Calvary Kids and Calvary Youth. Parents, be part of your child’s Christian growth and make yourself available to assist the youth leaders here at Calvary as they seek to encourage and strengthen your child’s walk with Christ.

Grace Giving 2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. From the Pastor’s Pen
2Pe 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
Many believers carry a deep burden for lost family members. We pray for children, grandchildren, husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, and friends who seem far from God. At times it is easy to grow discouraged and wonder if they will ever come to Christ.
Yet this verse reminds us of the heart of God. The Lord is patient and merciful, giving opportunity for people to repent and be saved. Never forget that no heart is too hard for God to reach. Saul of Tarsus persecuted Christians, yet the Lord transformed him into the Apostle Paul.
Gal 6:9 “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
Do not give up praying for your lost family. Do not stop loving them, sharing the truth, and placing them before the Lord. God is still saving souls and changing lives today.
Keep your eyes upon Jesus Christ and continue to walk in hope, knowing that the Lord is faithful and His grace is greater than we can see.

Helen’s heart
Jhn 9:4 “I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.” Not too long ago we would walk in the neighbourhood and go to the shops and people would smile and say hello. Now, due to i-pods, i-phones and i-don’t cares; people are more disconnected and disassociated. How ironic, people are being distanced by the very tools called ‘social’ media. However, there are still people who don’t want to be calloused, who hope for a better way. Jesus tells us to “lift up your eyes and look to the fields for they are white and ready to harvest.” John 4:35

“If you believe in prayer at all, expect God to hear you. If you do not expect, you will not have. God will not hear you unless you believe He will hear you; but if you believe He will, He will be as good as your faith.” – Charles Spurgeon
