🎄 CHRISTMAS IS COMING!
Only 74 days until Christmas! 🎄✨ As we look forward to celebrating our Saviour’s birth, may our hearts remain full of gratitude, joy, and anticipation for all that the Lord has in store!
Helen’s Heart
‘I got up one morning and I rushed right into the day. I had so much to accomplish I didn’t have time to pray. Problems just tumbled about me and heavier came each task. “Why doesn’t god help me?” I wondered, he answered “you didn’t ask me.” I woke up early this morning and paused before entering the day. I had so much to accomplish that I had to take time to pray.’ – author unknown.
We can get caught up in our scurrying that we can forget about our source of help. Are you facing a situation that seems insurmountable? Take time to pray. When I was in trouble I called to the Lord and he answered me – psalm 120:1

From the Pastor’s desk –
2 Peter 3:11, 14 “What manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,” “Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.” We are not simply waiting for an event; we are waiting for a Person — our wonderful Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ! As Christmas approaches, we remember that first night in Bethlehem, when our Saviour came into this world in humility to redeem us. The manger reminds us that He came, the cross reminds us why He came, and the empty tomb declares that He is risen! But the story does not end there — He has promised to come again! Dear brothers and sisters, do not let the busyness of Christmas, the cares of this world, or the pressures of everyday life rob you of your joy in the Lord or weaken your expectation of His soon return. Let us love our families, encourage one another, and share the good news of Jesus Christ with those who have yet to know Him. May we celebrate His first coming with overflowing joy while keeping our eyes lifted towards heaven, eagerly awaiting the day when faith becomes sight and we are forever in His presence! Even so, come, Lord Jesus! Revelation 22:20 — “Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.”
“Prayer is beyond any question the highest activity of the human soul. Man is at his greatest and highest when upon his knees he comes face to face with God.”
― Martyn Lloyd-Jones
