The Scarcity of Truth

Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour   -

Mat 5:13    “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.
Turn a television set on and see a panel of people speaking and there is never a true Christian representative speaking on the subject in question from a biblical perspective. Yet every other section of society is giving voice to its opinion on such.
Listen to the radio and you get a similar resonation – lobby groups speaking forcibly to promote their particular view but no true Christian apologist. In fact, Christianity, and what it teaches is often the subject of ridicule and disbelief. Yet should anyone from a Christian perspective speak in a similar manner about such issues they are shouted down as being ignorant, unloving, intolerant and bigoted.
Whilst we should not be surprised by such a bias against Christianity considering Jesus and Paul’s warning of how things would be in the time in which we now live – the Last Days. It should not hold us back from speaking God’s truth and the very faith in which we believe, and declare  what is right and wrong both in what we believe and how we ought to live.
In your class, in your school, in your work place, where God has placed you to be the light and salt of the world, may you follow in the footsteps of the prophets and the disciples of Christ and declare the truth, what God’s Word says about the very issues of life!
But in order to do that you are to know just what is the biblical perspective, not the world view on matters such as  marriage, parenting, immorality, materialism, who Jesus Christ really is, God’s Word the Bible, and the necessity of salvation from our sins.
I pray that where you live your day that there will not be a scarcity of the Truth but people will know what the Bible says on the key matters of our living today.
You be the voice…..
