No more tears….
The world is on a knife edge as we see the latest events from the middle east again echoing noises of conflict and possible military involvement. Closer to home our streets are becoming increasingly violent and the innocence of the nation Australia seems to be now a period of time past.
But Jesus promised He would return and He promised He would bring peace to our lives, permanently.
In the last book of the Bible, the Book of Revelation in chapter 21, Jesus promised, He will remove all of their sorrows, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. For the old world and its evils are gone forever.
At Jesus second coming, which He promised He said He would return to our world and set up His kingdom and government which would have no end, there will be peace at last. There will be no more sorrow, there will be no more pain and there will be no more tears!
You may be thinking, impossible, but let us remember who made this promise. It was the Man who they crucified and who died and was buried for three days and lay in the grave. But then on the third day, He rose and now He lives for ever more! He promised that after His death and after being dead three days, He would rise again. He did!
His promises come true. If you are fearful of the future today or tonight as you read this, that promise He made can be yours as well for the asking.
Jesus said, Jhn 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
Call on God tonight, ask Him to forgive you of your sin, receive God’s forgiveness and ask Him to be your Lord and Savior – and the promise is yours.
