Our Glorious Salvation!!..
Romans 10:9-10 That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.
We know that Jesus Christ is God by His virgin birth, by His death and resurrection and many more reasons and proofs that the Bible tells us of. The Apostle John tells that he wrote his gospel so that we might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you might have life through His name – John 20:31. Christianity is not a method, or a number of rules, but it is intrinsically a relationship. A personal relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ His Son. This is why conversion is a matter of the heart. It is not just abiding by a set of rules. It is loving God with all your heart.
This is for a person to live as a Christian, to want to read God’s Word, to desire to pray, to constantly seek fellowship with His church, can only occur by having been born again. Jesus said, “Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Marvel not that I said unto you, You must be born again.” John 3:5-7. This is the most important foundational truth for all who seek to be followers of Christ. There is no gradual conversion, but there is an instantaneous transformation of our heart, our desires, our goals and our purpose for life when one truly receives Christ as their Lord and Saviour and accepts by faith the work of God’s grace through the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ for our sins on the cross at Calvary.
The Bible promises a complete change, a new life when we follow God’s direction in this matter. 2 Cor 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away: behold all things are become new.
Will you allow God to change you life instantly? This is truly the most wonderful and amazing thing that can happen in your life. If you would but confess your sins to God, ask Him to forgive you and to cleanse you, He will come into your heart and bring new life – immediately! This is why we cannot but join in with Paul when he says, Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Tim 1:17
