“Mondayitis” or led by God.?

Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour   -

After Church – then what? Mondays and the beginning of the week after church, how do you head into the new week? The new allotment of time, people, incidents and twists and turns that you will face. Are you a person who is a glass half full or half empty? Do you always start off grumpy, or on fire or just tired? I believe the answers to each of these questions depends upon your walk and maturity with God. Eph 2:10   For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. The Apostle Paul teaches us that our lives were created for good works which God has planned for us to do. Things for us to progress through and complete. If you start out your week with the knowledge and trust that your week, God has personally planned out for you to live. That He has appointments, people to meet, storms to ‘row through’, lost souls to share with, thirsty and hungry people to give the Water and Bread of Life (Jesus) to. If you were invited to Buckingham Palace and then told by the Queen that she has planned  a whole week of things for you to do and go to and people to meet. How would you start the beginning of that week?
We do ourselves a great disservice when we just head into our new week with the same attitude and demeanor as those who do not know Christ, who have lived a weekend serving and fulfilling their own lusts and desires. Each new week is never ‘just another week!’. As a Christian each hour of your life is special. It’s God planned, which by the way God has planned before you were even born!
Knowing that, when Monday hits after a being in Church worshipping, serving and fellowshipping God now gives you the opportunity to be “turned loose” on a world in need, backed by the power of God Almighty! Go to it and have your eyes open and ears tuned, God has planned some marvellous things for you to do. Some amazing events and people waiting for you!
