What’s Happening – Welcome to Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour (nearly normal) this morning. If you are visiting for the first time, please be sure to make yourself known to the ushers, so they can introduce you to one of the Pastors here at CCSH. The Sunday school children will be directed to the classrooms at 10:00 am, pending the numbers in the sanctuary so we can keep to the 100-seat limit. Due to the existing Covid 19 restrictions, we will be having communion at three different locations within the chapel this morning. Also please make use of the hand sanitisers placed around the church today and we ask that you assist the ushers with the restricted seating arrangements. Coffee will be available after the service but restricted to the plunge pots and no special orders. There will be no food from our café during this time. Be reminded that street parking is now limited to 3 hours around the church vicinity. We also request that you assist us by observing social distancing and no hand greetings until we are cleared by the govt. Health authorities to do so. We pray that you will join us for our evening service commencing at 6:00pm sharp. For the Sunday school to operate efficiently again, we need to know your commitment or re-commitment to serve on the team. There is a Sunday school commitment sheet in the foyer for you to fill in if you would like to be involved/re-involved in either of the vital serving roles of the Sunday school ministry. The Sunday school helpers roster should occur each 4-6-week period. Teachers, approx. 8-week period. Your involvement is paramount to the smooth operation of the Sunday school and is much appreciated. Your labour is not in vain in the Lord – Helen Carmody and Thomas Woodage – supervisors Sunday school.
From the Pastor’s Desk – We are living in a time like no other! Situations in China, Hong Kong, the USA and world protests, the continued health and economic disaster fall out from Covid 19, anti-Semitism on the increase, massive world-wide unemployment and churches closed. This has been the greatest sifting and refining that the church has undergone in recent history and the fall out will be simple. There will be either a falling away from the faith by many who once named the name of Jesus Christ, or a tremendous revival stirring in those who have been become stronger and more passionate in their love of Jesus Christ. You are in one camp or the other. It’s as simple as that. One thing I know and that is the church here in CCSH will be more powerful, stronger in its love for the lost, hungrier for the Word of God and more willing to serve and give than ever before. Today we begin a journey in maturity and devotion that I believe will see this church grow like never before with souls who truly realize what Jesus Christ has done for them and will desire to radically live the Christian life even though we have an increasing violent and dark world. Jesus Christ is coming soon and CCSH will be ready for His return. Helen and I pray that you will grow with us in the amazing work that God is about to do.
Grace Offering
We have an offering container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Proverbs 3: Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; 10 So your barns will be filled with plenty And your vats will overflow with new wine. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work
