What’s Happening – The govt. is loosening some of the restrictions we have endured during the Covid 19 health crisis. As from Sunday the 7th June for CCSH, the church doors will once more be opened to all our services once again. We will be allowed to meet under the 100 to 300 rule. Which means we can have 100 in attendance within the sanctuary, not including those classified as serving, and up to 300 in total, throughout our church facility due to us having divided walls. We will provide, Lord willing, more clarity as to how we will manage this leading up to the official date for these changes. Please keep check with our web page and blogs for any updated information. Sunday school classes, and creche will recommence next Sunday as well. If you are serving ‘normally’ in any Sunday ministry, please check the church planning centre program for updated listings. In addition, on your return next Sunday to the church grounds, you will notice new parking signs on the streets surrounding the church with a 3-hour parking limit. Please note these, especially for those serving, due to your extended time of attendance here at CCSH. Next Sunday morning we will also be celebrating communion together! Please utilise the hand sanitisers spread around the chapel especially as you enter and throughout the morning or evening services.
From the Pastor’s Desk – We begin next Sunday, our way out of something we all have never experienced before, due to the Covid 19 outbreak. We ask that you be mindful of adhering to all the govt. health requirements as we gather again here, at the chapel. We ask that you especially cooperate with our ushers and security staff as we gather to worship our Lord and Saviour in the manner we all have missed deeply. Please respect each other’s personal physical distancing or other such measures, especially for those who may still be concerned about their own individual health situation. God has been at work and is moving powerfully around the world during the Covid 19 pandemic. As we come out from under the lockdowns what will we see? We now sadly see in the USA, anarchy in the streets. We see great sadness and turmoil in this powerful nation. We as Australians, need to be in prayer for our brothers and sisters in the USA. Most certainly, world powers are being shaken, in particular China, and Australia’s involvement with this massive world power and its economic influence on our nation. But our eyes are to always be fixed on Jesus Christ. Jesus commanded us to watch and pray, and those words each day are having a more powerful resonance than ever before. It’s a good time to get our house in order. In every aspect of our own lives and that of our families. I pray that you will have a greater desire to know God today as you recognise the times, we are living in. Helen and I look forward to seeing you again. Jesus is coming soon!
Grace Offering
We have an offering container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Proverbs 3: Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; 10 So your barns will be filled with plenty And your vats will overflow with new wine. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work
