What’s Happening – Since the Covid 19 situation has initiated our live streaming all teaching sessions, it has been decided to continue to provide this service when all restrictions have been lifted in relation to gathering together. Tonight, Pastor Marlon will be teaching from the Book of James, live streamed to your homes commencing Sunday 6:00 pm, along with our praise and worship team. At last Wednesday night’s prayer time, we had for the first time, the allowance of 20 people able to attend here at CCSH. It was a blessing to be able to gather again and pray! Ladies, we will be making an announcement about the Tuesday morning Bible study shortly, so stay tuned and connected. Our web page is currently undergoing a face lift so keep watching for some new exciting changes! There are a number of new media servant positions since Covid 19, if you would like to serve in any capacity in the CCSH Media servant team, please make contact with Pastor Marlon Le Chat.
From the Pastor’s Desk – What do you do when the enemy of your soul, the great accuser, Satan, raises from your past something that you are deeply troubled with? An action or an event that is troubling? How do we deal with it? Do we confess it all over again? Seek God’s forgiveness about the 100th or 1,000th time? No, firstly, we need to recognize that Satan does this with us all. He is the accuser of the brethren and he never rests in condemning us and bringing up past memories we detest. Secondly, we are to be reminded that not only is he the accuser of the brethren, but he is also the father of all liars. That means, when he speaks, it’s a lie and no longer the truth you are hearing. Finally, we are to go to the Word of Truth – the Bible, and we are to acknowledge that it is not what I say or think, or what Satan says to us, as being the truth that matters. This is why communion reminds us and we remember that Jesus Christ’s innocent blood washed away once and for all our sins! This is the truth we need to acknowledge and nothing else. Lastly, we are to obey the Word of God in moving on from this mental attack from the enemy – Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:11 The word reckon, means to take into account, calculate, determine…In other words when Jesus died on the cross for our sins – His death and His blood removed them forever!
Grace Offering
We have a number of people wanting to know how they can maintain their grace giving at this time – remember you can give electronically now via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Proverbs 3: Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; 10 So your barns will be filled with plenty And your vats will overflow with new wine. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work
