Wednesday 7:00pm Calvary Chapel Prayer 2 Cor 10: A Christians Weaponry!

Whats Happening This Wednesday prayer evening after our study in 2 Corinthians, we will have communion for the last time this year. It will be a time payer and thanksgiving. We encourage you to join with us. The following Sunday, Jan 3rd 2021, we will celebrate communion together for the first time in the New Year followed by a special message on the cross. For 2021, each communion Sunday we will have a message on the cross of Jesus Christ.

A New Year lies ahead and so too ministry opportunities whereby you can be a blessing to the body of Christ here at CCSH. See one of the pastors or elders for more information in how you can serve here at CCSH. We ask you to commit to pray for Gods wisdom and blessing for the New Year which will bring many new battles, trials and victories for each of us. You are invited to be part of the preservice prayer team and wait on the Lord and seek His blessing for all our services and ministries here at CCSH. Classroom #1 is where the prayer team meets to intercede on behalf of the church. Community Groups are coming they will meet once per monththroughout the year. More information to come stay tuned. Our new web page is up and running. Pastor Marlon will give a brief update on the changes this morning!

From the Pastors Desk Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Each day God gives us an opportunity to serve Him, to please Him and to show how much we love Him. New Year 2021 gives each of us a fresh new year, fresh opportunities to commit to faithfully fulfill the words that the Apostle Paul pleaded to the Church in Rome to honour. God made each of us the Bible declares, and He also has a plan of work that He created us to perform. Eph 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. If 2020 was a year you would like to forget, a time when you were in the slough of despair, then the Apostle Paul encourages you to serve Christ in 2021 and you will fulfill the reason God created you for. Your life will be filled with joy, contentment, peace as you realize the blessing that exists in being a disciple of Jesus Christ and ministering on His behalf for His glory!

Grace Offering we provide a grace offering container at the left rear of the chapel for your gracegiving or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Our greatest encouragement for giving is that it pleases the Lord. Let us remember that God was unsparing in His giving Rom 8:32 Grace giving means that God blesses the giver as well as the gift, and that the giver is a blessing to others. 2Co 9: So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.

We ask please that during each service that there  be the least amount of moving, exception being mothers called to their children in the creche, so as not to be a distraction to others worshiping our Lord and listening intently to the teaching of His Word. Should you need to leave your seat, the ushers will direct you on your return to one of the seats at the rear of the sanctuary thank you for your cooperation.
