Helen’s Heart for Calvary Women

Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour   -

There’s a saying “Can’t see the forest for the trees”, we can be so bogged down with the ‘what ifs…(what if I get sick, I lose my job, run out of toilet paper?) that we miss the forest. Our ‘forest’ is that we can seize this unique opportunity to spend quality time with our family during our forced isolation.
Deuteronomy 6:5-7 says ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart …commit wholeheartedly to these commands (the Word) …teach them diligently to your children, talk of them in your house, when you are out, when you lie down and get up.’
We see the progression: Love God -> His word -> -> teach this to your children->make the word a vital part of your life.
The word of God is ‘living and powerful’ Heb 4:12 and only God’s word can bring change.
J 15:7 states ‘If you stay connected to me and My words in you, you may ask and it will be granted to you.’
This gives us a solid and unshakable faith .If you seek a change in your spouse, child or any relationship, stay connected to God and let God work. “Be still and know I am God’
Start each day with your family at home (courtesy of this virus) by teaching and living the Word wholeheartedly.
May God continue to change you from glory to glory.
