Faithful – Media Servants Needed
Wednesday nights and Sun. service times we livestream to a number of people unable to be with us physically here at CCSH. We need urgently, people who will faithfully fill these important media roles in order to provide the best service we can. Please see Pastor Marlon Le Chat and training will be provided to be placed on this very important ministry roster. In Particular for our mid-week service.
From the Pastors Desk
It’s time to switch our minds to what we NEED to know as to what we are being told TO know. There is absolute chaos happening in our universities in Australia with what words are OUT and what words are to replace them, for example – “mother and father” are out. It is now to be birthing or non-birthing parent. Enough! Mankind fell into sin in the Garden of Eden, God the Father set about man’s redemption with the promise of the “seed of a woman” coming to save us from our sins! Over 2000, years ago Jesus was born in Bethlehem – the Saviour of the world. He was crucified at approx. 33 years of age, buried in a borrowed tomb. But three days later, just as He promised He would, He rose from the grave alive for evermore. Before He ascended into heaven, He birthed the Church, after He ascended, the Holy Spirit filled the church powerfully and many came to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Today, this amazing blessing is still happening – with people from all ages, all walks of life, receiving God’s forgiveness and being given eternal life. This is what we NEED today to be focused on. God will look after everything else in our lives once we get this right! I urge you, the time is short, as individuals, as parents, lay aside every weight and the sin which does so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us..Heb 12:1. Change your barrenness of business and refocus to what God says you NEED! You need Him! Stop being caught up in the cares of the world that are choking the life out of you and your family!
Helen’s Heart –
He has now reconciled you in order to present you before God Holy and blameless and beyond reproach Col 1:22 The world demands polished and perfect, we all feel the pressure to live up to this version of happiness. God, however, knows we are unable to produce perfection. That is why He gave us Jesus, the perfect Son of God – our position of perfect righteousness is only in Him. Let God mold you into His image this week.
Prayer – Join us as we pray each Sunday morning at 9:30 am for the Lord’s blessing and protection over all our services and His ministries here at CCSH. pray – your praying can make such a difference!
Wednesday Evening – join the body of Christ here at CCSH for our pray meeting where we pray for the needs of the fellowship here at CCSH.
James 5:16
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Tithes and Offerings we provide a grace offering container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Our greatest encouragement for giving is that it pleases the Lord. Let us remember that God was unsparing in His giving – Proverbs 3: 9 Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. 10 Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine.
Calvary Kids – Bible knowledge test:
– What does the word Baptism mean?
– Who can be baptized?
– Was Jesus Baptized?
– Who Baptized Jesus?
– What does the name of Jesus mean?
Parents you can use these for your family devotion or discussion time around mealtimes.
Once the service has commenced, especially the teaching of the Word of God, we ask that you remain seated so as not to be distraction to others during this most important time. Should you need to leave your seat the ushers on your return will direct you to a seat at the rear of the church – thank you.
