What path is your life on today? The Bible tells us that there are just two paths. A narrow path that leads to salvation and a broad way that leads to destruction. This morning you are either on one or the other. To find the right path is God’s desire for you. Sin puts us all on the wrong path. Jesus warned, Wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction and many enter it. Matthew 7:13. Jeremiah said to the people of his time, Ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, We will not walk in it – Jeremiah 6:16. If we are to ever get on the right path, we must deal with sin in our lives. But only God can do this, only God can change us; we cannot change ourselves – Christ came to show the way. For He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. I love following someone who knows the way. It makes everything so much easier. He is the Good Shepherd, and this morning He calls you to simply follow Him – this is the right way and the right path.
Helen’s Heart –
For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope – Jeremiah 29:11 NLT A sense of purpose and fulfilment holds great power in the life of a believer. They should excite us, motivate and energize us to seek Him knowing His plans are only good, pure and the best for us. As we train our children we need them to understand, and their lives have a God given purpose that He will fulfil through them. Pray that they will follow the plan God has for them the direction they need to go, the dangers to avoid and the final destination of their journey.
Tithes and Offerings we provide a grace offering container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Our greatest encouragement for giving is that it pleases the Lord. Let us remember that God was unsparing in His giving – Proverbs 3: 9 Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. 10 Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine.
Calvary Kids – Bible knowledge test:
1. What did Jael do?
2. Who was Deborah?
3. Why is Palm Sunday called by that name?
4. What city did the first Palm Sunday occur in?
Parents you can use these for your family devotion
Once the service has commenced, especially the teaching of the Word of God, we ask that you remain seated so as not to be distraction to others during this most important time. Should you need to leave your seat the ushers on your return will direct you to a seat at the rear of the church – thank you.
