From the Pastors Desk
As Jesus approached Jerusalem and saw the city, He wept over it – Luke 19:41. Having passed through the villages of Bethany and Bethphage, the cavalcade rounded the brow of the Mount of Olives, and suddenly Jerusalem came into view, with its glittering pinnacles and the spacious courts of the Temple. Just at this time however, as the shouts of the mass of pilgrims died down, to everybody’s amazement and embarrassment Jesus begins to weep convulsively. Through these loud sobs Jesus uttered a prophetic lament over Jerusalem, foretelling its destruction because it did not recognize the time of God’s visitation. I find it truly remarkable that, at the very moment when Jesus warned the city of judgment, He was weeping over it in love. Divine judgment is a solemn awesome reality. But the God who judges is also the God who weeps. He is not willing that any should perish. And when in the end His judgment falls on anybody (as Jesus said it will), God’s eyes will be full of tears!
Helen’s Heart –
All Scripture says What eye has not seen and ear has not heard nor entered into the heart of man all that God has prepared for those who love Him – 1 Cor 19:9 Easter gives us hope for the future – through Christ’s death and resurrection we (those who believe and receive His sacrifice) have so much more ahead for us than just the blessings on this earth. God has prepared such wonders for us in the age to come it fills us with joy unspeakable. We have glimpses now as the Holy Spirit reveals things in our hearts through His Word. This Easter may the realities of God’s unseen world have a great influence on you and your family’s lives. God’s throne is in the heavens and His kingdom rules over all. Psalm 103:19
Tithes and Offerings we provide a grace offering container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Our greatest encouragement for giving is that it pleases the Lord. Let us remember that God was unsparing in His giving – Proverbs 3: 9 Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. 10 Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine.

Calvary Kids – Bible knowledge test:
1. Why is Jesus also called the Lamb of God?
