“Forever, O Lord, Your Word is settled in Heaven.” – Psalm 119:89
It is always a good practice when you view the world in its current state, to do so with the Bible in hand. For we know that we do not worship an absentee God.
God is bringing everything together as He has planned from the beginning until they are completed!
Therefore, when we view our world seeing pictures of chaos, violence and war we should not be shaken as if things are out of control. We know that all these things are but the result of humanities fall when Adam and Eve rebelled against God in the Garden of Eden and sin entered our world.
Every headline, every media report, confirms what the prophet Jeremiah said centuries ago: “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?” – Jeremiah 17:9
But let us never forget: God will speak history’s final word. Every day our world moves closer to the time of His return. Satan will be defeated, and God’s perfect plan will be fulfilled.
So, no matter how the future may seem to appear, the believer knows the end of the story – and it is glorious and victorious.
So, do not lose heart. The best is yet to come!
