Daily devotion – 23rd April 2021
Mat 18:3 “And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.”
A Christian man on his way to Church saw 4 boys loitering on a corner. He invited them to go to Church with him and he organised a Sunday school class with them as the nucleus.
Years passed and the original group scattered. But on the birthday of the teacher in 1932, he received letters from each of the four original members: one letter from a missionary to China, one from the president of the Federal Reserve Bank, one from the private secretary of President Hoover, fourth from Hoover himself!
Many people don’t go to Church simply because no one has ever invited them.
I encourage you to take the step and invite someone this week to join with you as we gather to worship Jesus Christ, the King of kings and the Lord of lords!
You never know what will happen!
