“Acts 2:41 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. 42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43 Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. 44 Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, 45 and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need.
46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people.”

Is it possible to be a Christian without going to Church? Yes it is possible. It’s something like the following:
A student who will not go to school.
A soldier who will not join an army.
A citizen who does not pay taxes or vote.
A salesman with no customers.
An explorer who never leaves home.
A seaman who never leaves land.
An author who has never written a book.
A parent without a family.
A football player without a team.
A bee without a hive.

“Aunt Effie” Lindquist attended the First Baptist Church in Keokuk, Iowa, regularly for 80 years. She never missed a Christmas or Easter service. She served under 15 different pastors in that time. She listened to over 8,000 sermons and attended more than 4,000 prayer meetings. She taught Sunday school for over 50 years.

Luke 18:8 “….when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”

If Covid lockdowns and the ability to not be able to attend Church cause you great concern and a driving passion to once again be able fellowship with the Church of Jesus Christ….you can be certain….that the Holy Spirit has taken residence within your heart!

Hebrews 10: 23 “Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. 24 Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. 25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.”
