Forever, O Lord, Your Word is settled in Heaven – Psalm 119:89
As you view the world scene with the Bible open before you, you should be aware that God is working wondrously toward His final plans.
Even though we are fed filtered news by a mainly socialist media, we should not be disturbed with the increasing pictures of chaos, violence and war.
As Christians we are aware that these are the consequences of humanities fall, sin entering our world and rebellion let loose.
Every headline every news report confirms what the prophet Jeremiah said centuries ago: The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? – Jeremiah 17:9
But we must never forget: God WILL speak history’s final word!
Every day we move closer to the time when Jesus Christ will return. We know that Satan will be defeated, and that God’s perfect plan will be fulfilled.
So, no matter how foreboding the future seems to appear, as believers, we know with certainty, the end of the story – and it is glorious!
Do not lose heart.
