Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faith must have an object. We do not simply have faith; you must have faith in something or someone. Faith in “faith” is meaningless!

For the Christian there is only one object for our faith: that is in Jesus Christ. Anything less is unsubstantial, unreal and indeed deceptive. Our faith is in the King of kings and the Lord of lords, He who created the world and was born in a small town called Bethlehem in a stable. The Word made flesh and the Saviour of the world.

The Bible says – 1 Peter 1: 19 It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. 20 God chose him as your ransom long before the world began, but he has now revealed him to you in these last days.
21 Through Christ you have come to trust in God. And you have placed your faith and hope in God because he raised Christ from the dead and gave him great glory.

People today put their faith in many things and all kinds of ideas from astrology, so called spirit guides, science and humanism. But only Jesus Christ reveals God to us and only He can bridge the gap between us and God. The great gap caused by our sin.

Do not be deceived or misled. Only Jesus Christ is worthy of your faith!
